MINI CHALLENGE - using my favourite new flower - Drumsticks (sometimes known as billy buttons) which grow on the sides of the road on my drive to work, they're everywhere, with their little heads popping out through the grasses...

Decided to keep photographing the beautiful lilies a friend gave me for my recent birthday. I was thinking a mini-challenge... but would also like to keep going past tomorrows pic to see what I can do with the same subject. Think I'll go for an even ten days... we'll see... New gadget comes new inspiration...
I was given a handy little tripod for my camera off my parents for my recent b'day, it bends every which way, and can hang off trees.. but it also provides a sturdy prop to take pics with a slightly longer shutter speed and not relying on flash to blow out a pic... can use more subtle lighting...

Some blossom and some others.. Far as the blossom goes, I'm like a surfer searching for the perfect wave.. I'm still searching for my perfect blossom photo... although its about to all pass as the petals all fall.
